PCI digitizers, waveform generators get more memory

Woburn, Mass. — Strategic Test has equipped all of its PCI and PCI Express cards for PCI digitizers and waveform generators with 256 MBytes of on-board memory. For high-speed instruments more memory is often essential, said Strategic Test.

With this larger memory, it is now possible to record a 200 MSamples/s 8-bit signal for more than 1 second compared to 320 milliseconds for a card with 64 MBytes. The new larger memory applies to all of Strategic Test's PCI and PCI Express cards, more than 100 models in total.
